Real Estate investment in Mexico is a very attractive business opportunity, especially in Playa del Carmen. Foreigners can own property in Mexico and the return of investment is guaranteed by the fast development of the Playa del Carmen area and the Riviera Maya as a whole.

As foreigners can own property in Mexico there are two ways to go about it. One way is to open up a trust fund (Fidecomiso) with a federal insured Mexican Bank and institution that is handling the property ownership. The second way is to open up a company who then is handling the property legally. Either way the new owner is the legal 100 % owner. No Mexican partnership required.
